Tim Bowling is one of Canada’s most lauded writers. He is the award-winning author of ten poetry collections, two works of non-fiction and four novels. He was awarded the prestigious Guggenheim fellowship for poetry and prose in 2008, which recognizes excellence in an entire body of work. His poetry has twice been nominated for the Governor General’s Award for Poetry and anthologized in numerous editions of Best Canadian Poetry. Bowling has won several Alberta Book Awards for poetry, fiction and non-fiction. His books have twice been finalists for the Writer’s Trust award, for non-fiction in 2007 and most recently for his 2012 novel, The Tinsmith. He lives in Edmonton.
