Nathan Sellyn has lived in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, New York and Chiang Mai, Thailand. He studied under Joyce Carol Oates within the creative writing program at Princeton University, where the faculty also includes Toni Morrison, Edmund White and Chang-rae Lee. In 2004 he received the program’s Francis LeMoyne Page Prize for Distinctive Achievement, and in 2007 he won the Danuta Gleed for Indigenous Beasts. He is currently working on his first novel.
