Lambert ShaenaShaena Lambert’s stories have appeared in The Walrus, Zoetrope: All Story, Ploughshares, and been chosen three years running for Best Canadian Stories. Her first book of stories, The Falling Woman, was a Globe and Mail Top 100 Book of the Year, was nominated for the Danuta Gleed Award, and published in Canada, the UK and Germany. Her novel, Radiance, was published in Canada and the UK and met with widespread critical acclaim in Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Radiance was a finalist for the Rogers Writers Trust Award, the Ethel Wilson Prize, and the Ontario Evergreen Award, as well as being a Top 100 book in the Globe and Mail, Quill & Quire and New Zealand Star-Herald. Shaena has been a fiction mentor with Humber College and The Writers’ Studio of Simon Fraser University, and studied fiction with Margaret Atwood, Peter Carey and Bonnie Burnard. She currently lives in Vancouver with her family. Her book of short stories, Oh, My Darling, was published by HarperCollins Canada in Fall 2013.
